Preparing the works collected before you for my “Signs: Sealed, Delivered" exhibition proved both challenging and energizing. The text and themes contained within Will Arbery’s “Heroes of The Fourth Turning”, as well as my own personal relationship with this heavy subject matter, served as inspiration for this exhibition.

My goal was to develop a small but intentional visual language composed of relatable scenes and objects that invite the viewer to form their own feelings and conclusions as to each piece's meaning and the exhibition as a whole. The over two dozen watercolor paintings have been mounted to birch and sealed by hand with a cold wax to both protect and enhance the work of the artist. The dried florals are the fruit of many seasons of labor in my very own garden, put aside for safekeeping until the arrival of the perfect moment.
